17th May 2008: 34th Anniversary of the Dublin and Monaghan bombings>>>

Relatives of the victims of the bombings, along with those injured in the attacks, commemorated the 34th Anniversary of the Dublin and Monaghan bombings.Thirty-four people, including an unborn baby, died in the Dublin and Monaghan bombings of 17th May 1974. Yet thirty-four years on, nobody has been held to account for the murders.

21 April 2008: MacEntee Report to be challenged>>>

Following receipt of legal advice, Justice for the Forgotten has reached a decision to take a High Court challenge against An Taoiseach, Ireland and the Attorney General in relation to aspects of the Commission of Investigation into the Dublin and Monaghan bombings, which was conducted by Mr. Patrick MacEntee, S.C.

An Taoiseach, Mr Bertie Ahern TD, today unveiled a memorial to the three members of the Miami Showband who were murdered outside Newry, Co. Down in 1975 by a loyalist gang, which included serving members of the UDR.

With reference to Gordon Gillespie's article 'Sunningdale and the 1974 Ulster Workers' Council strike' (May/June issue), we in Justice for the Forgotten were extremely disappointed that an incorrect date was given for the bombing of Dublin and Monaghan, an error that was replicated in your editorial.

17 April 2007: Speech delivered on the occasion of the 33rd Anniversary of the Dublin & Monaghan bombings >>>

Today, 17th May 2007, marks the 33rd anniversary of the Dublin and Monaghan bombings in which 34 people, including an unborn baby, lost their lives in four no-warning car bombs. These bombings were carried out by the Ulster Volunteer Force either directed or assisted by members of the British security forces.

4 April 2007: Publication of Commission of Investigation (MacEntee) Report into Dublin & Monaghan bombings >>>

Justice for the Forgotten will respond to the findings of the MacEntee Report, which the Government is due to publish at 5 pm, at a press conference in the Alexander Hotel (off Merrion Square) at 5.30 pm tomorrow, 4th April.
