The Family Support Centre

The Family Support Centre is located at 64-66 Lower Gardiner Street, Dublin.

The centre, which is funded by the Remembrance Commission, was established in August 2001, to address the needs of bereaved family members and survivors, not just of the Dublin and Monaghan bombings and Dublin Bombings of 1972 & 1973, but to assist all those who were bereaved or injured in this jurisdiction as a result of the Troubles.

Services Provided:

  • Counselling: Available at the centre and also on an outreach basis for those resident outside Dublin
  • Holistic Therapies: Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherpy, etc. are provided at the centre by our qualified therapist, Una Kearns. We also provide therapies on an outreach basis for those resident outside Dublin. Barry Niblock, a qualified therapist based in Belturbet, provides these services to people in the border counties.
